This invention provides a simple, light crankshaft miller capable of being manufactured at a low cost, and offering a high processing accuracy without using a rugged bed. The crankshaft miller according to the present invention has a slide (3) which is supported on a saddle (2) disposed so that the saddle can be moved in the lengthwise direction of a bed (1), and which can be moved slidingly in the direction which is at right angles in a horizontal plane to the lengthwise direction of the bed (1), and a spindle head (6) which is supported so that the spindle head can be turned in the direction crossing the lengthwise direction of the bed (1) at right angles, on a pin means (7) supported on the slide (3) in a horizontal plane including the axis of a workpiece (17), and which is provided with a rotary cutter means (18), one end portion of the spindle head (6) being supported pivotably on a pivoting mechanism provided on the slide (3). |
