PURPOSE:To always attain correct decision with the same timepiece means by internally providing the timepiece means in which setting cannot be altered from the outside, and internally deciding an effective term with the use of data information obtained from the timepiece means at the time of an on-line transaction. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card is set at a terminal and the instruction signal of a transaction desire is transmitted, a CPU 27 reads the date information form a second timepiece circuit 323. By collating the read data information and the effective term information stored in a data memory 30, the CPU 27 decides the effective term. By generating 1sec clock through the data informa tion, and counting the clock outputted from an oscillator 33, a clock circuit part 32 consists of first and second timepiece circuits 322 and 323. The first clock circuit 322 is the timepiece circuit for displaying, etc., in which the date setting can be altered, and for the second timepiece circuit 323, the date informa tion is set at the time of issueing the card, and thereafter, it cannot be altered. |
