<p>A first shape (1) and a second shape (2) are displayed on a display surface (CRT). When a reference point (P1) and one linear element (1a) in the first shape (1) and a reference point (P2) and one linear element (2a) in the second shape (2) are designated, respectively, a parallel displacement distance (Sx, Sy) and an angle of rotation (υ) required for fitting the first shape to the second shape in such a manner that the reference point (P1) coincides with the reference point (P2) and the linar element (1a) is in parallel with the linear element (2a) are determined. Then, the first shape (1) is moved and fitted to the second shape (2) by use of these parallel displacement distance and the angle of rotation.</p> |
