PURPOSE:To protect the internal circuit in accordance with the respective inter- potential noise from a signal line by inserting a field transistor into all directions from the signal line. CONSTITUTION:From a signal line of a protecting circuit for protecting an input and an output in a semiconductor integrated circuit device such as a MOSLSI, etc., field transistors TR1-TR4 are inserted into all directions. As a result, by preventing an electrostatic breakdown and latch-up caused by a noise, the circuit is protected by the potential by which the transistor is turned on. In such a way, the attenuation of the noise or noise-cut can be contrived, and said circuit is effective for preventing the electrostatic breakdown and the latch-up. |
