METHOD FOR TESTING IPC FUNCTION IN FULL ELECTRONIC SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for testing an IPC(inter-processor communication) function is to allow an operator to test an optional processor and the IPC function with respect to the optional processor using an operator's own instruction code, thereby increasing an operating efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for testing an IPC function in an electronic switching system comprises steps of: inputting an instruction code formed with ASCII code(S100); analyzing the instruction code in an EC(execution control switch block) and transferring information of a test requirement(S200); requiring an IPC pass test in SSC(system status control switch block) based on the test requirement(S300); testing the IPC function between processors in MPSH(main processor status handling switch block) and then outputting a test signal(S400); outputting a responding signal of whether the test is correctly performed in CROS(concurrent real-time operating system)(S500); outputting a result of the IPC pass test in the MPSH(S600); and converting the result into ASCII code and then outputting the result in the SSC(S700).
