PURPOSE:To prepare a baked ONIGIRI (rice ball) containing an ingredient and having reduced deformation in eating, by press boiled rice around the thick steel spit together to form the rice into rod shape, baking the surface of the rod shaped rice, pulling out the spit and pushing the ingredient into the space. CONSTITUTION:Boiled rice is pressed so as to press together around a steel spit 1 having about 5-10mm diameter to form into a rod ONIGIRI 2 (rice ball). The surface of the rod ONIGIRI is baked with charcoal fire while supporting the base end of the steel spit 1. After baking, the steel spit 1 is pulled out and an ingredient such as salmon or cod roe separately prepared is packed into through-hole formed in the space after pulling out the steel spit 1 using a squeezer. As a result, the deformation of the ONIGIRI is reduced, because the ONIGIRI is readily eaten from the end in eating and readily and lightly eaten without accelerating the deformation by packing the ingredient. |
