The prefabricated building component comprises strip body (1) with, along opposite lengthwise edges, a protruding rib (2) and a groove (3) both extending for the full length. Part at least of the rib fits in the groove. Both rib and groove can have to or more faces including an angle, while in the case of the rib the angle can be different from that of the groove.
