PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a collapse of a printing character by fixing an ink jet type printing head having a plurality of ink injection nozzles. SOLUTION: A printing head 40 is fixed to a printer 10. A control device 20 is constituted by being provided with a printing control part 22 for controlling the printing head 40 and a carrier control part 24 for adjusting carrier speed of wood by controlling a driving motor 36. By controlling speed of the driving motor 36 by the carrier control part 20 and starting each injection nozzle of the printing head 40, carrying wood for time designated by printing control data by a printing control part 22, printing is executed. Because a large quantity of ink is jetted upward to a wood side, scattered ink is stuck to the printing head 40 side and is easy to solidified. However, because the printing head 40 is fixed and a movable part is not provided, printing can be properly continued. Therefore, maintenance such as cleaning of the printing head 40 becomes unnecessary.
