Pipe joint - by two flange rings made of specified thermoplastic materials

To join a plastic pipe with a collar to a pipe with flange through a seal two plastic rings are applied to the former. The ring is made as an injection moulding of PVC, polyethylene or polypropylene and has a conical face contacting the conical face of the ring. The latter is a thermoplastic injection moudling moulding reinforced by glass fibres impregnated with polyester. Before they are joined by clamping screws, the collars effect a snap fit. ADVANTAGE - Creates a rapid and simple coupling of such pipes which has the necessary strength although it is made of plastic material.
