The wrist watch casing includes a frame which surrounds the watch movement (20). This frame is received in an outer casing (11) which has the cover glass (10) attached to it. A flange around the edge of the frame has screws (16,17) passing through to retain it on the lower surface of the outer casing. The casing is closed by a base (21) which is also retained by screws (24,25). These fit into the frame. Sealing rings (14,15,22,23) fit between the components, and provide protection against shocks, and ensure the complete seal of the casing. ADVANTAGE - Watch case allowing suitable use of decorative, and less expensive materials.
