Ice cream preparation device with a casing and a pot-shaped container (1) which accommodates an ice cream compound, the floor (6) and inside wall (13) of which can be cooled by means of a cold-storage medium (21) and along which there can be moved a scraping and agitating mechanism (29). The pot-shaped container is composed of an outer pot part (4) made of elastic plastic and an inner pot part (3) made of metal; the outer and inner pot parts are connected to one another in a liquid-tight and gas-tight manner. The outer pot part (4) is provided with inwardly directed supporting ribs (17), on which the inner pot part (3) is supported.
