PURPOSE: To produce the subject nonwoven fabric hardly causing dropping of fiber or deformation, having a high chemical stability and biocompatibility by freezing an aqueous solution of a silk fibroin under a freezing condition in which the silk fibroin molecules are coagulated and become insoluble, and thawing the frozen aqueous solution. CONSTITUTION: An aqueous solution of a silk fibroin (preferably including dispersed various kinds of fiber materials) is frozen under a condition in which the silk fibroin molecules in the aqueous solution are coagulated and become insoluble, and the frozen aqueous solution is thawed to provide the objective nonwoven fabric. Preferably, the silk fibroin aqueous solution is impregnated into the web of the various kinds of the fiber materials. |
