The invention relates to a process and a device for milling tree stumps, in which the device is fixed in a working machine comprising a rotary drum 1,15, a drive mechanism disposed partially or wholly in the drum, and a shovel 13 or rock blade 26. Milling of the stumps occurs also below the surface of the soil. By guiding the rotary drum 1,15 over the stumps, layer after layer of wood material is removed from the stumps. The roots around the stumps are left in place in order to bind the soil against erosion. Soil or loose materials is/are smoothed and conveyed using the shovel 13 or the rock blade 26. <IMAGE> |
