PURPOSE: A front filter and a fabrication method thereof are provided to obtain an effective area of a picture by adding a black paint or a black dye to an adhesive. CONSTITUTION: A front filter(102) comprises a plurality of thin films(80,84,86), and a frame adhesive(76) defining an effective area of a picture in a display panel and formed at least on one upper side of the plurality of thin films. The frame adhesive comprises a transparent adhesive(74) formed at an overlaid area with the effective area, and a black adhesive(72) formed at an area except for the effective area and formed by mixing a black material with the transparent adhesive.
