PURPOSE: To obviate the utilization of an absolute position feedback circuitry in bleed valve positioning of a gas turbine engine by controlling a direct drive actuator by means of velocity feed back signal processing and positioning command. CONSTITUTION: Bleed valves 28 of a gas turbine engine 26 are controlled by a direct drive electrical actuator 30 according to the valve positioning command from a temperature control member 34 via a valve control member 32. The valve control member 32 sums up the valve motor velocity feed back signal from the bleed valves 28 i.e., the pulse from a valve motor tachometer to generate a present position signal, outputs a drive signal to the actuator motor 30 via a difference amplifier according to the difference with the valve positioning command. Thus, the positioning of the direct drive actuator is controlled without utilization of absolute position feedback circuitry. It is possible to simplify the structure.
