PURPOSE:To considerably improve the reliability of the diagnosis result of a device diagnosed by execution of a diagnosing program by executing and managing the diagnosing program with an external management additional system added to the external of said device. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit (CPU) 21, a read-only memory (ROM) 22, a random access memory (RAM) 23, a file 24 consisting of a CMOS, an RS-232C controller 25, a local area network (LAN) controller 26, and a clock 27 are connected to one another through a bus to constitute an external management additional system 2. In this case, a device 1 to be diagnosed executes the diagnosing program and is diagnosed based on the execution result, and the external management additional system 2 is connected to the device 1 through a communication line and a communication program is loaded down from the external management additional system 2 to the device 1 to manage execution of the diagnosing program. Thus, the reliability of the diagnosis result of the device 1 due to execution of the diagnosing program is improved. |
