PURPOSE:To remarkably promote a bleach processing or a bleach-fix processing, and to improve the sharpness of a picture image by incorporating a high b.p. org. solvent in a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified yellow coupler in an amount of at most 0.5wt. ratio of said solvent based on the total wt. of the total yellow coupler contd. in said emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains a bleach accelerator releasing type coupler capable of releasing the bleach accelerator or its precursor by subjecting said coupler to a coupling reaction with at least one kind of the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent. And, at least one kind of the yellow couplers is composed of a hydrophilic divalent yellow coupler which has a competent mol.wt. of 450-720 and is shown by formula I. The silver halide emulsion layer contg. the yellow coupler contains the high b.p. org. solvent in an amount of at most 0.5wt. ratio of said solvent based on the total wt. of the total yellow coupler contd. in said emulsion layer. In formula I, R1 is a tertiary alkyl group, etc., R2 is hydrogen atom., etc., R3 is a group capable of being substitute for an aromatic ring, (l) is an integer of 0-4, X is a group capable of being released by the coupling reaction with the oxidant of the aromatic primary amine developing agent. Thus, the sensitive material which is capable of desilvering for a short time, and has the improved sharpness of the picture image, is obtd. |
