<p>Expanding system for application of tension to tissue under surgical conditions, principally for expansion of skin and underlying subcutaneous tissue, for closing wounds or replacement of undesired areas of skin comprising one or more sutures or other preferably non-elastic thread implanted through the skin and across the wound or undesired skin area, expanders are connected to the suture or thread and placed above the skin at the point of penetration and after activation of the expanders expanding body and locking the expander at the suture or thread a direct moment of force is applied towards the skin in order to stretch the surrounding tissue.</p> |
