<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a detecting signal outputted from a sensor from being influenced by a fixing means by arranging the means for fixing a signal input plate to be an oscillation propagation medium on the outside of an oscillation preventing material for preventing the reflection of an elastic wave to an input effective area. CONSTITUTION:When coordinates are inputted to an input tablet consisting of an oscillation transmission plate 8 with an oscillation pen, an input image is displayed on a display device in accordance with the inputted coordinate information. In order to prevent oscillation transmitted from the pen from being reflected by the peripheral part of the transmission plate 8 and returned to the direction of the center part, the peripheral part of the plate 8 is supported by a reflected preventing material 7 constituted of silicone rubber or the like. An upper case 31 fixes the plate 8 on a body 30 for positioning the plate 8 on the outside of the material 7 in the coordinate input effective area and holding the plate 8 with screws 32. Since the fixing means of the plate 8 is arranged on the outside of the material 7 in the effective input area, the influence of the material 7 is not exerted upon the detecting signal outputted by the sensor.</p> |
