PURPOSE:To permit a shutter, contaminated by oil and dust upon cooking, to be removed and cleaned, by a method wherein a shutter, capable of opening and closing the suction port of an orifice freely, is provided on a panel, blockading the inlet port of a hollow part in the main body of a hood and being used both for the orifice, while the panel is attached detachably to the main body of the hood. CONSTITUTION:A panel 6 is attached to the front surface of a fan casing 3 so as to blockade the inlet port of a hollow section in the main body 1 of a hood and be detachable to the main body 1 of the hood while an orifice 6' is formed on the panel 6 and a shutter 9 is provided so as to blockade the orifice and be capable of sliding manually. A front hood 2 is provided on the front surface of the main body 1 of the hood so as to cover the opening of the main body 1. According to this method, the shutter 9 can be removed easily by removing the panel 6 whereby the shutter may be cleaned easily nevertheless the shutter 9, positioned near the orifice 6', is contaminated by oil and dust, generated upon cooking and discharged to the outside of a house by the vane 5 of a motor fan. |
