FIELD: iron and steel industry; blast-furnace production; methods of utilization o the vessel slag. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of iron and steel industry, in particular, to blast-furnace production, namely to the methods of utilization of a vessel slag. The method includes a loading in a blast-furnace of an iron-ore burden, coke, fluxes, slags of oxygen-vessel production, metal scrap and a metal-containing component both separated from a vessel slag. At that the metal scrap is loaded into a peripheral cross-section of the furnace excluding its loading in the furnace intermediate zone.
