PURPOSE:To prevent the unmatching of the operation position by maintaining the drive mode at the four-wheel-drive/center differential gear mode in preference to the output signal supplied from the second switch means when the above-described mode signal is outputted from the first switch means. CONSTITUTION:When the first switch means 66 outputs a signal for setting the drive mode to a four-wheel-drive/center differential gear lock state, a control means 88 does not receive the signal for setting the drive moded to the four- wheel-drive/center differential gear lock state from the two-wheel drive state or the signal reverse to the above-described which is supplied from the second switch means 68. In other works, the four-wheel-drive/center differential gear lock state is maintained. When the first switch means 66 does not transmit the signal for setting the drive mode to the four-wheel-drive/center differential gear lock state, the control means 88 switches the two-wheel-drive state and the four-wheel-drive/center differential gear lock state each time when the signal is received from the means 68.
