Liquid applicator comprising a sleeve-shaped element 13 which is in engagement with the threaded rod 6 of a plunger which can move axially in the main body 1 of the applicator, the sleeve-shaped element being rotated by the user so as to move the plunger axially and forcibly to supply the liquid which the body contains to a liquid-application element of the applicator, characterized in that the main body has a rib 15 on the inner wall of its rear end; a ring-shaped stop element 16 is mounted in the body at a place located immediately in front of the rib; and a handle 2, which can be set into a rotational movement by the fingers is mounted so as to rotate in the rear end of the main body, whilst rotating at the same time the sleeve-shaped element, the handle having an extension part 18 at its front end, this extension part having an external diameter slightly less than the internal diameter of the ring-shaped stop element and comprising an axial slot 17 shorter than the extension part at the front end of which an annular rim 19, extending radially inwards, is provided. <IMAGE>
