HERMETIC CRYSTAL PACKAGES

The invention concerns a method of manufacturing a hermetically sealed crystal resonator package. In a preferred embodiment circular ceramic layers are laser cut from blanks and a crystal blank mounted on a central layer. A second layer and a base are adhered by a fritting process to either side respectively of the central layer and a lid is sealed to the second layer to complete the package.
