<p>A forage harvester (10) has an aspirator (64) embodied in the engine exhaust system (30, 32, 34) and a pair of aspirator tubes (66, 74) have ends respectively coupled to a vacuum duct (56), associated with a rotary screen cooling air filter (46), and to a combustion air pre-cleaner (28) and have respective second ends coupled to the aspirator (64) whereby exhaust gases flowing through the aspirator (64) cause a suction at the aspirator tubes (66, 74) for sucking collected material away from the air filter (46) and pre-cleaner (28) and entraining such material in the exhaust gas flow for discharge into the atmosphere.</p> |
