A titanium implant has surface areas bombarded by a mass of granular bodies of spherical form. Said surface structure is obtained by treating the implant blank in a centrifugal-planetary device with a chamber filled with balls and a soap-water solution into which the implant blank is immersed, the desired surface structure of the implant being obtained in the course of rotation of the chamber, as a result of impacts of the balls with the blank surface. The implant obtained is characterized by high thromboresistance and biological inertia properties. |
