PURPOSE:To facilitate handling of the title toner by forming the toner in the form of solid tablets. CONSTITUTION:The title replenishing toner 1 is formed to solid tablets by dispersing toner particles 3 in a binder 2 (e.g. copolymer of lauryl methacrylate with methacrylic acid) which is soluble in a carrier liquid consisting primarily of aliphatic hydrocarbons. The above-described particles 3 can be constituted of a colorant or a flushed colorant together with a resin as primary components. By this constitution, the handling in the stage of replenishment is facilitated and the efficiencies of transportation and package are improved. |
