摘要

NEW MATERIAL:Pseudomonas KWI-56 strain (FERM P-No. 9659), belonging to the genus Pseudomonas and having the ability to produce a thermostable lipase. USE:A microorganism capable of producing a thermostable lipase having 70-80 deg.C optimum reaction temperature and inductively producing the lipase only when oils and fats are present in a culture medium. PREPARATION:The aimed microorganism is separated from soil in ATSUGI City in KANAGAWA Prefecture in Japan.
