Quick change chuck for hand-held power driven percussion tool - has socket of hexagonal cross=section to receive tool bit

A percussion tool has a tool bit (15) which fits in the quick change chuck of the tool housing. The tool bit has a shaft (16) of hexagonal cross-section with a collar (16') at its outer end. This collar (16') is circular but has two diametrically opposite flats. This shaft fits in the chuck which has its inner part (7) of hexagonal cross-section and its outer part (6) shaped to match the collar. A sleeve (12) fitted outside the chuck is rotated through 90 deg. to retain the bit in the chuck. USE - Hand-held power driven percussion tools including surgical instruments.
