A low nitrogen oxide burner is provided to generate compact size flame by making the structure of a combustion chamber compact, and prevent generation of thermal nitrogen oxide and prompt nitrogen oxide at the same time. A low nitrogen oxide burner(1) includes a tube(3), a diffuser(5), a fuel supply pipe(8), and a plurality of fuel nozzles. The tube guide air into a combustion chamber. The diffuser is arranged in a front end of the tube, and forms an air supply path between the front end of the tube and the diffuser. The fuel supply pipe is arranged at a center o the tube. The fuel nozzles are radially arranged on the front end of the fuel supply pipe, and spouts fuel in the direction orthogonal to the direction of air supplied through the air supply path. The fuel supply pipe has a front end penetrated through a center of the diffuser and introduced into the combustion chamber. The front end of the fuel supply pipe is equipped with a plurality of fuel spout pipes. Each fuel spout pipe has one end equipped with the fuel nozzle. The fuel spout pipes are arranged at different positions along an axial direction of the fuel supply pipe such that fuel spout positions of fuel nozzles of fuel spout pipes differ from each other.
