PURPOSE:To prevent a base from being broken by a wire even when the base used is thin, by providing a back coat layer comprising a polyurethane resin on a side opposite to the side of an ink layer, in a multistrike film ribbon which comprises an adhesive layer optionally provided on a synthetic resin base film and the ink layer comprising a resin, an oil poorly compatible with the oil and a coloring substance. CONSTITUTION:A back coat layer comprising at least a polyurethane resin is provided on a side opposite to the side of an ink layer, in a multistrike film ribbon which comprises a synthetic resin film base 1, an adhesive layer optionally provided on the base, and the ink layer 2 comprising at least a resin, an oil poorly compatible with the resin and a coloring substance. With this construction, it is possible to prevent deterioration of printing quality or breakage of the multistrike film ribbon in printing by an impact printer. The synthetic resin film base 1 may be a conventionally known synthetic resin film without any additional treatment. The ink layer 2 comprises the adhesive layer selectively provided on the conventionally known base, as well as the resin, the oil poorly compatible with the resin and the coloring substance. |
