摘要 The invention relates to a single-beam spectrophotometer, of which the central component is a novel monochromator (15), in which the measurement beam coming from an illumination optical unit (1-5) is dispersed by a fixed diffraction grating (8) and the stray light of first order (f) is directed away via the exit slit by means of a computer-controlled optical element (10) with reference to the wavelength in the millisecond range. The grating may be selectively replaced by a fixed prism with a specified beam path (secondary image, Figure 1). The vertical beam path through the cuvette (13) is characteristic. Conventional recording photometers are typically double-beam devices, which implies a slow wavelength progression in the minute range and the measurement only of clear, non-scattering samples with a typical optical density less than A2. The photometer described here no longer suffers these serious limitations. A particularly high light intensity with low stray light component is achieved by the deliberate use of cylindrical optics for linear focusing of the light source onto the input slit (7) and the point-shaped focusing of the exit slit (11) onto a special cuvette (13), as well as by a comparatively small number of light-deflecting elements (about 1/3 of the usual number).
