PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus with a high safety and a high printing efficiency which enables automatic leafing of printed sheets with a simple structure by simplifying the construction so that a calender is made to reciprocate in stead of reciprocation of the printing mechanism section. CONSTITUTION:A calender 5 is fed to the setting position and the gutter space 5a is retained being grasped with a grasping section 9a. At the same time, a printing is performed feeding the calender 5 grasped at the right end thereof with the compression between a printing surface 20a of a branket cylinder 20 and an impression cylinder 21. Here, a support stand 7 or the like is moved over the base 1 and as the end of the printing surface 20a gets off the paper surface of the calender 5, the calender 5 and the support stand 7 are restored by the action of a spring 8. Simultaneously, the uppermost sheet is sucked up with an air suction piston mechanism 51 and leafed with a leafing rod 32 inserted into a resultant clearance 56' to be carried onto a conveyor 54. For binding seven sheets, this operation is repeated 7 times. |
