<p>PURPOSE:To enable high-quality images to be stably obtained irrespectively of the environmental temperature for a recorder, by sequentially performing formation of an image on a transfer recording medium and transfer of the image to a recording material, and controlling the quantity of energy supplied to the transfer recording medium according to the atmospheric temperature for the recorder. CONSTITUTION:A transfer recording layer has such a property that when the layer is supplied with light of a predetermined wavelength and heat, the softening temperature thereof is raised, namely, transferring characteristics thereof are irreversibly changed so that it can not be transferred onto a recording paper 8. Therefore, an image is formed in the transfer recording layer by driving a motor to sequentially paying out a transfer recording medium 1 from a payout roll 2 and supplying the light and heat to the transfer recording layer 1b of the medium 1 according to an image signal at a recording part 3. In forming the image, the quantity of thermal energy supplied to the medium 1 is controlled by setting the heating time of heat generating elements 3b to be shorter or longer as the atmospheric temperature in the vicinity of the recording part is higher or lower.</p> |
