PURPOSE:To enable an ink absorption material to be prevented from drying and leakage of ink by moving the ink absorption material before and behind by another mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Since a film 17 is moved in a reciprocation manner under a state where it is stretched by a pair of guide rollers 18 formed at both ends of an opening part 2 of a case 1 during printing, recording is performed by bringing the film 17 into contact with a thermal head 12 and an ink coating part 9. Since a carriage edges near a one site corner in non-printing, only the cassette is moved forward under a state where the thermal head 12 and the ink coating part 9 are parked by another mechanism. At that time, a part of a grasping material 8 is pressured by a small projection part in an ink storage shed 3, near the top of a felt 7 is compressed by the grasping pressure, and the ink is prevented from further leakage. |
