PURPOSE:To recover a function block with latchup or the like caused therein by means of self-control by connecting the function block and a power supply by a P-channel FET or a PNP transistor(TR) and giving an output of an inverter circuit receiving the potential of the function block to the gate or base electrode. CONSTITUTION:If latchup takes place in the function block 1, a, 1st transmission gate 4 acts like a resistive component and the potential of the power supply to be supplied to the function block 1 starts descending. The output of the inverter circuit 5 is inverted attended therewith and the 1st transmission gate 4 is turned OFF. Thus, the potential at the input side of the function block 1 is decreased further and reaches the holding voltage of latchup to stop the latchup. Since the power supply is supplied through the 1st transmission gate 4 without fail, noise on the power supply is reduced to cause latchup to hardly take place. |
