PURPOSE:To prevent defective machining by arranging a contactor fixed to an arm for taking cut the motion of a cutter and a board gauge having profile and dimension to be machined through an allowance gap then detecting conduction between them and stopping NC machine. CONSTITUTION:A controller 11 detects conduction of a power source section 12 for applying voltage between a contactor 6 on an arm for taking out the motion of a cutter and a gauge 5 having profile and dimension to be machined, and outputs a stop command to an NC machine 14 upon contact, while furthermore an output section 13 for providing a display signal to an external display 15 such as a lamp or a buzzer is provided. Upon occurrence of abnormality due to erroneous operation of the NC device 14 and the cutter cuts a work over an allowance, the contactor 6 contacts the gauge 5 to bring out a conducting state, and thereby a stop instruction is fed from the output section 13 to the NC device 14 so as to stop machining. Consequently, defective machining due to erroneous operation of the NC device 14 can be prevented. |
