摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a V-belt from slippage on any stage of transmission process by controlling transmission ratio controlling oil pressure to a lower of transmission oil pressure or minimum oil pressure. CONSTITUTION:A target value determining means 80 determines a target engine r.p.m on the bases of throttle opening, car speed and range mode and a determining means 81 determines a transmission oil pressure PA on the bases of the determined target r.p.m and a detected engine r.p.m. On the other hand, on the bases of an engine torque and a transmission ratio, a minimum oil pressure determining means 82 determines a minimum oil pressure PB at which a V-belt will not slip. And control signal output means 83 compares both oil pressures PA and PB with each other, an when PA>PB during constant speed running, sends PA and when transmission oil pressure is approximately zero at the transient transmission time, such as the kick-down time and engine braking time, sends PB via a transmission control valve 43 to a transmission ratio controlling oil chamber 16. In any transient mode, the slippage of the V-belt does not occur and the early deterioration is prevented.
