<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost of a sensor by coating a moisture sensitive body film on a metallic electrode to serve as a 1st electrode, bringing a counter electrode to service as a 2nd electrode into contact with the moisture sensitive body film and reading the electric resistance in the thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:The 1st metallic electrode 11 is formed by blanking, for example, a galvanized steel sheet and coating the moisture sensitive body 10 on the surface thereof. The counter electrode 13 is formed by blanking phosphor bronze, forming plural pieces of vent holes 12 on both faces, holding the electrode 11 in place on the inside of the electrode 13 and fixing the same by metallic fixtures 14. The change in the electric resistance of the moisture sensitive body 10 on which moisture is adsorbed is taken out of lead wires 4 to an external resistance measuring circuit and the change in the humidity is measured from the electric resistance in the thickness direction of the moisture sensitive body 10 between the electrodes 11 and 13. The size and cost of the sensor are, therefore, reduced.</p> |
