PURPOSE: To prevent the discharging rate of a capacitor from being affected by the impedance of an electronic sound output device, etc., by separating the RC network of the tone generator from the electronic sound output device and it relative constituent elements. CONSTITUTION: In the electronic tone generator which converts a signal modulated by using the charging and discharging of a capacitor into an electronic sound output device audible tone, a transistor 11, a capacitor 12, and a resistance 13 constitute a resistance/capacitor network or network (RC network) 14. A voltage waveform B from the RC network 13 is strictly close to the envelope of the amplitude of the musical sound generated by a musical instrument, so the output signal of the RC network is separated by an intermediate circuit including an N-channel source follower MOSFET 16 having the gate connected to the output value of the RC circuit network 14. Then a variety of methods for sound volume control including the use of variable resistances in different places can be used without exerting influence on the performance of the RC network 14. |
