PURPOSE:To uniformly heat-treat a material by arranging a rotatable capsule consisting of a heat-resistant hollow cylinder having holes in its side walls in the title furnace, and heat-treating the material contained in the capsule while rotating the capsule. CONSTITUTION:The capsule 13 having the holes 25 and 26 for supplying and discharging the material 12 to be heat-treated in both side walls 23 and 24 and consisting of the hollow cylinder of heat-resistant material is arranged on a couple of parallel rotary supporting shafts 14 and 15 provided in the furnace body. The rotary supporting shafts 14 and 15 are rotated by a motor 19 through a transmission mechanism 18, hence the capsule 13 contg. the material 12 is rotated, and the material 12 is heated by a heater 21, agitated, and heat-treated. As a result, the material 12 is uniformly heated, a binder in the material 12 is uniformly removed, and the material 12 is uniformly sintered. |
