The present invention relates to an instrument making it possible to decompact a furrow bottom when carrying out a mechanically pulled ploughing operation. The instrument is composed of a frame 1, of an adjustable tooth (teeth)-carrying flange 2, of one or more teeth 3 provided with dismantlable ploughshares 4 and with interchangeable wear plates 5, of connection pieces 7 making it possible to fix the instrument laterally onto the plough and make it integral with the latter in its work. This operation of decompacting allows the easier drainage of rainwater through the subsoil and allows the crops grown to root more deeply. <IMAGE>
