发明名称 DRIVING CIRCUIT FOR ELECTROSTATIC INDUCTION THYRISTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a capacitor for drawing out a current from a conventional PNP type transistor and to contrive the IC conversion by using an NPN type transistor for drawing out a current from a gate of an electrostatic induction thyristor and turning off the thyristor. CONSTITUTION:When an output Vi of a control circuit CO is in an L level, a TR Q5, a TR Q3 and a TR Q1 turn off, on and on respectively, a charging current flows to a capacity C1 from a power source Vcc, and a driving current flows to a gate of an electrostatic induction thyristor SI, therefore, the thyristor SI becomes ON. When the output of the control circuit CO becomes an H level, this time the TR Q5, the TR Q3, a TR Q4 and a TR Q2 turn on, off, on and on, respectively, therefore, the potential of a connecting point of the TRs Q1, Q2 becomes the ground potential, and the thyristor SI is turned off. In such a way, as for the TR Q2 for drawing out a current from the thyristor SI, an NPN type can be used, and a conventional current drawing-out use capacitor becomes unnecessary, therefore, the IC conversion of a driving circuit can be executed easily.
