发明名称 MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To decrease the medium noises by grain boundaries by incorporating Pb into magnetoplumbite type ferrite as a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:The information written by utilizing the Faraday effect of the magnetic layer consisting of the magnetoplumbite type ferrite is read out by projecting semiconductor laser light which is recording and reproducing light to the recording layer from a substrate 11 side and reflecting said light by a reflecting layer 17 after transmission through an underlying layer 13 and the magnetic layer 15, then detecting the reflected light in the stage of reproduction. The film forming temp. of the magnetic layer 15 can be lowered by incorporating the Pb into the magnetoplumbite type ferrite in this case. In addition, the crystallization progresses at the low temp. and, therefore, the crystal grains of the relatively small and uniform sizes are formed. The medium noises are thereby decreased.</p>
