<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and the operation of an information input/output device by ensuring the proper inversion of the input/output information even in either case where the input/output of information is performed on the upper or rear surface sides of an information input/output means. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate input device 81 which is capable of input of infor mation through both upper and rear surface sides in an ultrasonic wave system, etc., is combined with a coordinate output device 82 which can confirm the output of information through both upper and rear surface sides of a liquid crystal display device, etc., in a coordinate input/output device 11. At the same time, an upper/rear surface detecting switch 13 using a limit switch, etc., is set at a position near a side 14 of a device main body 12 to identify the upper surface side of the device 11 at present. Thus, the working surface side of the device 11 is automatically detected and the input/output data are converted in accordance with the working surface side of the device 11. Thus, the device 11 can be freely used through its both surface sides with no troublesome opera tion required.</p> |
