CRASH CUSHION USING CUTTING ENERGY OF STEEL PLATES

Shock absorbing equipment is provided to absorb impact effectively by offsetting the shock energy as the stepped part of a cut plate is cut by a cutting device consecutively. Shock absorbing equipment comprises a cover plate(5) combined in the lower front side of a buffer member inside a collision frame(3), a cut plate(7) including a stepped part(7a) longitudinally formed in the center and a front cut part(7b) which is protruded upward as the front of the stepped part is cut, and a cutting device(6) with a cutting edge on the front end. The rear surface of the cutting device adheres to the front cut part of the cut plate and the front surface adheres to the inside surface of the cover plate.
