<p>PURPOSE:To simply and quickly correct a contour form by designating successively the graphic elements forming an additional shape based on the definition of a contour shape, generating a new contour shape by putting the additional shape after the designated graphic element of the contour shape, and plotting the new contour shape on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:The graphic element straight lines Sn and St and a circle Ck are plotted on a display screen CRT 106 to specify a contour shape A and a form to be added to the shape A. Then a circular arc C1' serving as a prescribed graphic element of the shape A is designated. Then both lines Sn and St and the circle Ck forming the additional shape are successively designated based on the definition of the shape A. A new contour shape is generated by putting the additional shape after the designated circular arc C1' of the shape A and plotted on the CRT 106. In such a way, the contour shape is simply and quickly corrected and the NC data is also obtained quickly based on the designated contour shape.</p> |
