<p>The device comprises a mechanism for taking samples of defined length from a stock, a balance (19) and an evaluation unit. Means (20) for making a ball-type packet (K) from each sample taken are arranged in the path of the sample in front of the balance. The ball-type packet ensures that no part of the sample hangs over the edge of the balance pan (23) or is caught anywhere, which would affect the result of the weighing. In addition, the ball can be removed simply and safely from the balance pan after measurement. This device permits automatic number control and can be connected without difficulty with other operational monitoring systems due to its high processing capacity.</p> |
