Combined display, control and monitoring unit for underground

A device having a high or very high information density is created for workshops where there is a risk of explosion or firedamp, in that CMOS chips are assembled to carry out very different control and monitoring tasks, together with a high-resolution liquid-crystal display, resulting in a process-control panel. A display unit which is directly comparable with video screen monitors which are used in overground areas is created by means of a liquid-crystal display having a resolution of, primarily, 640 x 200 points (pixels). <IMAGE>
