PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition exhibiting semiconductivity and high dielectric constant and capable of giving a development roll forming excellent image, by mixing and kneading an insulating polymer material with electrically conductive particles surface-treated with a coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective semiconductive polymer composition having high dielectric constant while keeping semiconductivity and usable for forming a conductive resin layer, etc., or a developing roll of an electrophotographic copying machine, is produced by mixing and kneading (A) an insulating polymer material (preferably phenolic resin, epoxy resin, etc.) and (B) a material produced by surface-treating a conductive material having a specific resistance of <=10<6>OMEGA.cm (preferably carbon powder, carbon fiber, conductive zinc oxide powder, etc.) with a coupling agent (preferably a silane-based coupling agent, titanium-based coupling agent or aluminate-base coupling agent having a specific resistance of >=10<12>OMEGA.cm). |
